The companion app

The LV Connect application allows to use the new LV connected object (speaker, watch...). It also inspires a strong emotional connection with the brand through appealing UI. The challenge was to find the right balance between 3 elements: ultra functional side (native usages, high performances, latest OS innovation), brand storytelling, and an immersive experience. Clients are not buying a regular connected product. They’re buying a LOUIS VUITTON experience. We need to reflect this magic within the design & interaction.

Colors and design system

We designed the application in the dark mode and played with the gradients to highlight objects. We used Apple best practice guidelines for Apps and added the immersive Louis Vuitton universe to create the exclusive experience. You can choose your gradient and the application will adapt thanks to the design system. Each connected object is magnified with the light effects, animations and gradients. Light creates a different atmosphere for each object’s universe. The 45° gradient style is used to put forward action elements from the lighter on the top left to the darker on the bottom right.

Onboarding pairing

At the beginning of the experience, you need to connect your speaker to the app.
There are 2 options: by using bluetooth or Wi-Fi. Once the object is found and connected, you can play music. The advantage of this application is that it can support the user throughout the whole experience. If you need help, you can play an animated tutorial that explain everything.

Travel

The user has different ways to add the trip details, such as the departure airport, the destination airport, then the date, etc. The most popular way to add themis through search.

The commercial app

A shopping app that helps you to enjoy the exclusive services and products of Louis Vuitton.The new simplistic design system and its components bring products and brand content to the forefront in an elegant way. The application, created following iOS recommendations, is more playful and ergonomic. Based on iOS recommendations, the application is more playful and ergonomic.

The design system

The Louis Vuitton application is made up of a lot of elements grouped together into a design system that takes into account all the iOS and Android guidelines. Based on the Atomic Design approach, its components are built with a hierarchy in mind.

Navigation

An animated scroll, a truly unique interaction feature. When discovering different categories, it brings a special character to the LV app.

Product sharing

Louis Vuitton provides the clients with personal advisor services. It allows to reinforce the relationship between Client Advisors and Clients through curated inspirational content supporting store and KPIs on the application. Easy to use and simple to understand, product sharing is the first tool in overall communication with clients.

Connected

Thanks to this part of the app, you can discover and buy all the connected objects. To activate and pair the devices, you can use LV Connect app.

Magazine

The book is the digital version of the physical magazine "The book" that Louis Vuitton releases every year, retracing the latest news from the house.
